A New Look for First Night
November 25, 2008
Sharp Hue, Inc. has updated the web site of First Night Fayetteville, giving the nonprofit a new look to go with this year's new venue.
CEO Shan Pesaru has been First Night Fayetteville's web master for ten years, and this is the web site's third redesign. Pesaru offered the update as part of Sharp Hue's support for First Night.
"It's essential to keep web sites fresh and updated," says Pesaru. "An organization's online presence can also reflect evolution in the organization -- that's one of the advantages of the web as a medium."
First Night will move to the Northwest Arkansas Mall this year, avoiding concerns about weather that have affected the event in past years and growing toward a more regional event with easier parking and better access for neighboring communities.
First Night is an alcohol-free family celebration of the arts which relies on community support and sponsorship.
"I give them my time and professional services," Pesaru explains, "in the hopes that my contribution will help them further their vision and grow their event year after year."
Sharp Hue provides a variety of web-based services for nonprofit organizations in the region, including hosting, email, and web strategy. Other nonprofits with Sharp Hue designs include the Northwest Arkansas Crisis Center, Green Valley Network, and Quality Life Associates, whose new web site is currently in development.
